Sushi Masa

Getting here is a bit challenging, I honestly didnt see the name of the restaurant in front of the door. (I guess i missed the sign) and the place was in the middle of nowhere. I almost lost in that area since it was dark and scary. The place is unique. The first floor is alike a mini supermarket. The restaurant itself is on the 3rd floor and 5th floor. The 3rd floor was a bit cramp, the 5th floor is larger and you can do both sushi and hotpot.

Honestly, every dish is an amazing experience. The fish was fresh, Every bite makes me want to cry "tears of joy". The meat was amazing as well. The price is expensive in general, but considering the quality of the food, i would say it is reasonable.

I tried several things:

mix carpacio - slices of salmon in a vinegar bath.


Salmon belly aburi and  salmon aburi - The sushi just melt in your mouth. Each pieces cost a lot, but the sensation in your mouth just pay it off.


Saba fish - it's fish but it's amazing.

The tataki beef, and other type of beef... really can't find anything wrong with those. everything just perfect.


The dessert was good. The mochi is cute and nice. I won't say it's bad, but it's just not special. You can find more dessert on the 1st floor. They have that ice cream section. There is one particular ice cream that i find it interesting. The shape is circle, it taste like grapes. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sourness that will awake your nerve system.  ah.. the dark chocolate ice cream was also nice. it's a bit bitter and sweet. not overwhelming. just the right composition. These 2 are my favourite.

Coming back here? Hell yeah! but can't be too often since i have limited money ><

Taco Local

The place is simple but nice. A lot of different small restaurant in that place. I believe they have salad, pao,  coffee, and ice cream stand around them. However, the taco place is the one that attracts most customers.

I tried the dirty rice. Not really my favourite since i was expecting something fresh. However, different story for the taco. One of the most amazing taco. The meat is very juicy.

Lewis and Carroll Tea

Trying this new exciting place. The place is amazingly cozy where the first floor is the cafe, and  the upper floor is for yoga. This place is totally fit for hang out.

I didn't try too much food in here, we ordered tea since they focus on their tea. 

 

What can be more amazing than trying different types of tea. How do you choose? smell it in a test tube. So geeky and so cool...

Picking which tea should i drink is very hard. We ended up ordering a hot one: winter bloom (silver needle white team globe amaranth, jasmine, marigold) served in a clear teapot; and a cold one: colada sun : hibiscus blossoms, rose hip, apple, pineapple, coconut, orange peel. Price range from 40 to 60 k... if you are a tea lover, it's worth it.

We also tried some of their food: earl grey cheesecake and lotus chips. This is the first time i tried. The cheesecake is interesting. it definitely has the smell and taste of earl grey. but the texture it self can be better. the lotus chips are covered with shredded cheese. it was just very thin and then they deep fried it. Very nice for snack. 

Overall, I do recommend this place to just relax and enjoy the time together with your friends. A bit expensive, but atmosphere is very relaxing.
